Facility Description:
Dance Studio Moga has two studios; studio 1 (16m wide x 8m deep x 5m high)and studio 2 (8m wide x 8m deep x 3.8m high).Both studios have flat floor and allow free arrangement of stage and seating areas. Studio 1 is often used for its 7.2m x 8.9m x 5m stage with 100 seats. Seating set up using scaffoldings and flat base is also possible.

History / Profile
Office Moga Ltd./ DANCE STUDIO MOGA was founded in 1998 to provide studio space for various lessons from contemporary dance to street dance. From 2000, the studios have been opened also for weekend- dance, dramas, live music performances.
Concepts and Goals
DANCE STUDIO MOGA's concept is to create a dance environment of the people, by the people, for the people in Matsuyama. The organization aims to take a leading part in promoting distinguished arts with originality of Matsuyama. At the same time, DANCE STUDIO MOGA wants to provide people with opportunity to expose themselves to dance activities as much as they can by promoting interactive communication at home and abroad and by expanding exchanges among artists.
Future Plans
Dance Studio Moga aims to create atmosphere where various artists can be nurtured, and where people can accept and respect different values and grow together through their activities. Moga is enthusiastic about planning and coordinating events that make people think dance as a part of their daily life.

 

Current and Continuing Programs
Other program:NAMA-DANCE EIGAKAN, (Live Dance Cinema)  
This is a joint program with Maruijikan, which started in 2003. The concept of this program is to “provide opportunity to appreciate dance performances as often as you watch movies in theaters”. Dance performances in this program ranges from contemporary dance to street dance by dancers from both at home and abroad. This performance is held every Sunday for a month.
Workshop:Contemporary Dance Workshop
Dancers and choreographers from both home and abroad are invited for this workshop.Among those are Hiroyuki Miura, Takeshi Yazaki, Joyce Suan Li Lim, Andrea Johnston, Nami Yamamoto, Hiromi Naruse.
Workshop:Street Dance / Jazz Dance Workshop
Many leading Street dancers and Jazz dancers in Japan have joined this program.
Past workshops done by : So(Be Bop crew)・ Yoshie (Be Bop crew )・Kaoru Harada ・Shinnosuke Motoyama ,and so on.
