Faith, Hope & Love

I lift up my eyes, and my hands to the heavens,
Release all my cries in this land of aggression,
But comfort does not come to souls in oppression,
So, I offer my heart in Your presence.

I believe not the might, not the power nor splendor,
But faith, hope, and love,
will withstand time and pressure.
So whomsoever sacrifice life for the better,
His name will be cherished forever.

Where there's pain and suffering,
these too shall pass.
Even good things don't last forever.

But take heart, be still,
Hear my words before I leave,
Faith, hope and love will remain,

But the greatest of all, is love.
