• NF2NA（＋STEAM） ・・・ 2017年末にサービス中止を撤回し、継続が告げられるも、以後放置状態。サーバー状態は保たれているがオンライン対戦は困難
• NF2CH（＝NF4　＋STEAM（おま国）） ・・・ おそらく放置状態。過疎化進行中（日本からのプレイは不可能）

NF2GSP（gamengame.comにて提供されていた新NF2ゲーム配信サービス）は、

We would like to announce a regret news. sorry for the delayed announcement in Facebook page. We announce that Navyfield2 in GnG was ended 15th May 2017 in GnG,
however you will be able to play the game in Steam.
We really appreciate all your great interests and love until now.

We would like to thank for your kind affection and sorry for the service closing in Game&Game.
But you can enjoy Navyfield 2 in Steam. We are going to prepare better and various games soon.

GnGのサイトが比較的短いスパンでリニューアル＆リフレッシュを行っており、
NF2GSPの終了までの経緯については不明、NF2NAへの合流は行われなかったものと思われる。
2016年までは結構頑張ってる感じだったのだが…
2017年9月現在、ゲームのバナーは残されているもののリンク先はSteamになっている。
2015年の時点でまともにバトルマッチングが出来ない状態であり、
（加えてサーバー接続が不安定だった？）
GMが個人的にSteam（NF2NA）を勧めてたりといったこともあったので
終了決定時点で残っていたプレイヤーはいなかったのではないか…

NF2NA(Steam)

NF2NA（navyfield2.com および Steam にて提供されている
Navy Field 2 : Conqueror of the Ocean ゲーム配信サービス）は、
2017年12月27日00:00（PST）に無期限で中止される予定です。

Thank you for your long time support. Unfortunately, we have decided to discontinue NavyField 2 service from 27 December 2017 0:00 PST time until further notice. We appreciate your patience and advices along the way in helping us to improve the game. However, due to company situation and business interest, we believe that it is unfair for players to play our game without proper routine update and support.

We will ensure your game data is being kept safely and when we finish debugging all the issues in NavyField 2, we will launch it in the future again. We will be Back!

If you are still interested in other naval games, feel free to try our NavyField 1 and NavyField Mobile.

こちらも2016年までは結構頑張ってる感じだったのだが、
2017年に入り、メンテのお知らせも途絶えていたところに突如
サービス中止のお知らせが投げ込まれた。 ⇒ 後に撤回
こちらもバトルマッチングが困難な状況であったようではあるが…
3月には新GMが就任し一時的にとはいえフォーラムが活気づいたのだが…

管理人の感想

NF2GSP・NF2NAに共通して言えるのは、アップデート・意見の収集とゲームへの反映・プロモーション活動・メンテのお知らせ…といった運営サイドの活動が段階的に鈍化していき、ついにはゲームを「放置」してしまったことである。そしてその時間軸は「Navy Field Mobile」の配信開始と符合。
開発体制・運営体制が変わったようにも感じていたのですが、どうにも旧NF2終了のときと同じことを
繰り返しているように思えてなりません。
…と妄想してみたものの、プレイヤーが離れる（過疎化）のが早かったというのが大きいように感じます。
NF2KRも例外ではないようで…
