DANCING MONK IPPEN is Japanese historical divine musical.
Music by Tokuaki Nakajima and lyrics by Takaaki Shigenobu, Directed by Hiroaki Doi,
Produced by Fuuun Kabocha no Basha(Pumpkin Carriage under Stormy Cloud)

The show will debut in NewYork on August, 2014.

The show was performed in Japan, Oji Fringe Theater on March 00-00, and Theater711 on April 00-00, 2013.

Synopsis

The 13th century, Japan.
World was full of war.
Jokyu War. Shogunate and the Emperor. And I was preparing for invasion and seeks to extend the territory further the Yüan dynasty conquered the Goryeo on the Korean Peninsula in the continent across the sea.

Jokyu War occurs, family head Michihiro Kono family the Emperor side. Michihisa brother had sided with the Shogunate side. Clan fought farewell to friend or foe.
Michihiro is take to the field to leave the castle.
Michihisa to attack the castle from the sea by multiplying the absence of Michihiro.
During the fierce fighting, mother of Michizane are killed in Michihisa.
Michihiro back to the castle, Michihisa to withdraw.
Michihiro you have received reports of the Emperor was defeated, to surrender to the shogunate rejected the Michizane against.
Kono family lost them territory by war.

Michihiro cytometry is a new wife.
Shojumaru (Ippen) is born in Kono family.

Michihisa and Michihiro were reconciled.
The next family head is determined to Michizane.
Michizane put in the hands of the mother Shojumaru (Ippen) in secret.
Michihiro put training to the temple to protect Shojumaru a (Ippen).
Shojumaru (Ippen) enter the temple with Nen-butsu-boh.

Shojumaru (Ippen) is given a name by Shotatsu.
Dai-nichi-boh and Dai-getsu-boh start a fight newcomer Ippen.
They are ordered to house arrest.
Dai-nichi-boh is informed that the mother is a disease from the monk returned from begging.
Ippen offer to get out of the temple Dai-nichi-boh and Dai-getsu-boh.
Dai-nichi-boh and Dai-getsu-boh get out the temple persuaded to Ippen.

Dai-nichi-boh and Dai-getsu-boh played a reunion of the last moments of them mother.
They returns to the temple.

Shotatsu and Kedai had been waiting in the temple.
Ippen come forward to be the mastermind.
Dai-nichi-boh and Dai-getsu-boh protect the Ippen.
Shotatsu hand down to Ippen go to Dazaifu.

Ippen meet Hyobu in Dazaifu.
Hyobu challenge Buddhism dialogue to Ippen.

Ippen know my ignorance and breadth of the world through rigorous training.
Ippen feel a sense of longing for new world.

The time passed.
Ruthless word comes to Ippen.

In response to the obituary of his father, back to home then return to secular life.
Michizane and Michihisa to conflict violently around the heritage.

Ippen tries to stop.
But hate can not be stopped, fight, Michihisa and Michizane die.

Ippen to be attacked by a deep sadness.
However Ippen rises and go on a journey.
In order to save the people who suffer as a monk again.

Odorinenbutsu go spread between people gradually reputation with.
Monks conservative who heard the rumor feeding the Hyobu in order to capture a Ippen.

Hyobu brought to justice a Ippen.
Ippen performs Odorinenbutsu, prove the innocence.

Hyobu is fed into the battlefield Ippen.
Ippen meets a foreign warrior Han-Young in battlefield.
Although Ippen was to be the allowance Han-Young wounded on the battlefield.
Do not trust the Ippen, Han-Young not release the weapon.
Ippen to the allowance Han-Young still.
Han-Young go back to the main force.

Nen-butsu-boh say goodbye to Ippen.
Ippen will become lonely more trying to save.

The dagger in hand, Hyobu appear before the Ippen.
Two people start a Buddhism dialogue.
