Unravelling

I shut the door behind me and pray
That maybe tomorrow will be the same
The sounds around, the crowds everywhere
Just leave me alone this just isn't fair

I let imagination run wild
An endless reality
I ask I ask I ask for you
To take me to where I want to be

Before my eyes
I see the world unravel
Flowers bloom under the sky
Who'd have known our world was this bright?

All at once the colours in my life
Surround the world inside my head as I am whiskеd away
Let me run until I'm out of time
Whеre everything's okay, so let me be, until the night goes away

I take a pen and paper in hand
And conjure a world that we understand
All the creatures that we’d befriend
On our journey that never ends
