Dynamis Strat

Please read this from top to bottom. do not skim over it.

  • The number one thing to remember is pay attention and listen to a Leader at all times. If you do to every thing will go much much smoother. Enjoy yourselves. this is meant to be both a fun and reward experience. With that said lets cover the basics.
  • Tanks. Tanks will be assigned at the start of a Dynamis. Each Party or Alliance will be assignes tank to /assist. There will never be more than 2 mobs being killed at once. Always assist your tankks unless otherwise stated by a Leader. Do not aimlessly run around engaging random mobs. Any tanks are not an Alliance tank will be Provoking adds.
  • Black Mages. BLM are up front of the melee to handle the Statue type mobs and assist with Crowd Contol as needed. Sometimes BLMs will also be called on to nuke certain mobs down when they 2hr a PLD or THE mobs.

Crowd Control. RDMs and BRDs are the main source for CC. RMDs should be upfront near the BLMs to catch the mobs as they come in. Avatars and Pets take priority. Astral Flow can wipe the gourp in seconds so keeping Avatars slept away from the main group at all times is needed.

  • DoT Magic.(Damage over Time)Never for any reason use DoT, period. Disable your DoT macros by add an extra// in your macro line. Examples of DoT spells are Dia, Bio, Poison,and the line of BLM elemental enfeebles like Frost,etc.

KILL ORDER

Mobs need to be killed in a certain fashion to ensure the runs go as smooth as possible.

  • SMN mobs ALWAYS need to be killed 1st and quickly to avoid Astral Flow.
  • BLM and BST mobs need to be killed next. keep BLM mobs and most BST pets silenced ast all times. And the Master is down we will kill the pet. If you kill the pet first it can call another or charm someone.
  • WHM, MNK, and NIN mobs are killed last.

⇒WHM mobs can cure other enemies or use Benediction to ruin your day. We want to kill these with fe mobs remaining to minimalize they're cureing efects.

⇒MNK mobs can be very deadly if not handled correctly. When they Hundred Fist they can rape. Depending on our numbers we will either tank through Hundred Fists or call for everyone disengage and sleep until it wears off. WHMs need to be on point here to avoid Tank deaths. If we tanking through Hundred Fists and you have Stun, use it.

⇒NIN mobs can also be quite deadly with their 2hr, Mijin Gagure. These mobs are always killed last. make sure to dont use WS untill 50%.

  • ALL other mobs not listed above will be killed in any order after the SMN, BST, and BLM. but before WHM, MNK, and NIN mobs.

Dynamis Xarcabard

This zone is a little different from all the others. It's filled with Ahriman and Demons for started Both of these types of mobs have naste AoE moves. And as some of you may know Demon run at Flee Speed. And to add to the fun, basically every pull is a link so it's not uncommon to have 7-10 mobs per pull. This is actually the norm.

Dynamis Lord

This guy can be very easy or very hard. the trick here is to zerg the hell out of it. killing it in under 2-3min tops.

  • There will be RDM/DRK team set up to Chainspell Stun him. 2 RDMs will be paired up and both will activate Chainspell and spam Stun at the Same time. Each of the 3 or more Teams will go 45 seconds apart. Chainspell is a 60 second ablity but we want them to overlap some. This will ensure there no gap between Stuns where DL could get that one fatal AoE off.
  • An Invincible other will be set up amongst the PLDs.
  • ALL melee including Tanks will be required to have Opo-Opo Necklcace and Sleeping Pots for TP. Do not plan on sharing a Necklace, we simply dont have time for this. Also you should bring a TP wing.
  • Everyone will need Reraise(as you should always have) and Poison Pots.
  • From there you basically zerg it untill dead. If all goes off as planned DL will die in matter of Minutes with very little damage taken, or deaths.
  • Lotting order for DL drops will be open lot. Remember you must be 75 to lot anything in Xarcabard.
