Akiyo has been fascinated with dance since childhood, and has been learning modern dance for a long time. However, he was always different from the others.
2001: Founded Dance company HAIKARA. Performed in KIM ITOH + GLORIOUS FUTURE and then joined SYOKIGATA.
2006: Selected by Yokohama Dance Collection R Group to perform The яOOM. Solo activities included TOYF, FUKIGEN NA KAJITSU（The Grumpy Fruit）.
FUKIGEN NA KAJITSU was selected for the reviewer's selection of the Dance Seed Competition.
His artistic strengths include a strong body and sharp eyes. The audience is left unsure whether he is implementing technique or not.
His dance style is highly original and an onslaught of seemingly reckless energy.
Akiyo's works sometimes cater to the audience, and at other times does not. He has never been an observer during his performances, so to understand fully, it is simply best see him perform live.
To collaboratively work with artists, guerilla live, and perform in outdoor locations. Has been working with photographer SOUMEIDO, and would like to showcase the collaborative works using photography.
