Character Code Set

SJIS/JIS/EUC

• Limitation
  It doesn't correspond to JIS X 0213 and JIS X 0212 (It is not expressible by SJIS).

• For Save
  After it is changed to NEC selection IBM escape character, IBM selection IBM escape character is converted into SJIS -> JIS/EUC.
  The escape sequence when preserving it in JIS is as follows.

• Roman alphabet : ESC ( B
• One-byte katakana : ESC ( I
• Kanji character and Full-Width character : ESC $ B

Note: The one-byte katakana of JIS is a violation of the standard. Please do not use it.

Unicode/UnicodeBE/UTF-8/UTF-7

• Limitation
  An internal code of the Sakura-Editor becomes and the character not included in SJIS becomes strange because of SJIS.
  The uncorrespondence to surrogate pair (UTF-16).

UTF-8

• Limitation
  It corresponds only up to 3 bytecodes.
