Rectangular Range Selection

There is the following ways in rectangular range selection.

Rectangular Selection by Mouse

Range Selection by Mouse

Rectangular Selection by Keyboard

It becomes a rectangular range selection mode by Shift+[F6], and the range of the rectangle is changed by a usual cursor movement.
The rectangular range selection mode can be canceled with the [Esc] key.

Alt+[Up], Alt+[Down], Alt+[Left], Alt+[Right] become the rectangular range selection modes.
