potentially pseudocompact

Last-modified: 2010-08-24 (火) 18:00:22

Definition Edit

Let P be a class of topological spaces. A space Y is said to be potentially pseudocompact in the class P iff there exist a space X in P containing Y such that Y is strongly pseudocompact in X.
In particular, if Y is potentially pseudocompact in the class T_3, Y is simply called potentially pseudocompact.
