Concepts and Goals
Emiko Miyashita is pursuing a sensibility of the Body as a brain/body conscious/unconscious whole and the making of Movement into Dance.
Rather than producing or creating Movement, she works with what arises naturally. She is also currently working with musicians and fine artists in live session events. In 2001 she started the live Session Series with one of her long-time collaborators, the musician Yuji Sagae.
Future Plans
Emiko Miyashita will work anywhere possible.
