Concepts and Goals
Using experience with classical dance and the traditional styles of India, Kiyomi Yamashita is seeking to form a unique form of expression not shackled by the conventions of existing styles.
In recent years, though focused primarily on solo activities, Kyomi has also been actively developing new works via collaborations with art works and other artists, and is seeking a way of being based on Eastern body concepts.
Future Plans
To present highly refined works in diminutive spaces, perform in a wide variety of locations, and collaboratively work with other artists.
