Concepts and Goals
With the goal of researching dance, Strange Kinoko Dance Company attempts to approach dance from many different angles to lay the foundation for an original body of performance work.
The company makes use of a wide range of performance venues, from theater spaces to museum courtyards, gallery spaces, cafes, warehouses and building entrance halls. Strange Kinoko Dance Company hopes to share the experience, exploration and joy of dances that are unique to each place and to each body.
