2004 - : Contributed critical essays and reports to DANCE MAGAZINE (by SHINSHOKAN).
2005 - : Wrote introductory articles in brochures regarding Ballet performances by foreign and domestic artists/companies.

Dance-related Activities
Morihiko Takahashi’s works appear in various media, including dance and general magazines, leaflets/ brochures for performances, as well as Internet websites. On his official web site (To the sea of a dance.com) Takahashi mainly posts articles about the performances he has observed.
With interests in ballet, contemporary and Flamenco dance in Japan and overseas, he provides a wide range of unbiased written works from multiple angles.
He is also interested in the promotion and development of dance activities throughout Japan.
Prospects for Japanese Contemporary Dance
Contemporary dance in Japan has matured thanks to long-term contributions by dedicated people resulting in successful festivals such as JADE (Japan Arts Dance Event). Japan’s dance field collaboration works with the help of overseas personnel and organizations have steadily taken roots rather than ended up only a passing trend.
Takahashi has a strong desire to hold dance performances, including Odorini ikuze!, in more rural settings.
