Dance-related Activities
Rumika Nishida wrote interview-based articles, dance critics and articles about overseas scenes for dance magazines such as The Arts Cure, Dance Express, and Dansart, She also contributed articles to free papers such as Cut In, dance caf・and Danza, and general magazines, such as The Atre, Studio Voice and Landscape Design.

Her other achievements:

  • Presented the dance in Quebec, Canada in Aoyama Performing Art Seminar 2003.
  • A member of Japan Dance Forum (JaDaFo), and conducted interviews in the symposium held by JaDaFo in 2005.
  • Acted as member of the planning committee of Dansu ga mitai (die pratze festival) and the selection committee of its new-face performance events, and conducted follow-up discussions.
  • Wrote dance festival brochures for the Tokyo Dance Biennale (2002, 2003) and the International Cotemporary Dance Festival “No Fundo do Fundo” (2006).
  • Writes for Corps magazine by Critic Magazine for physical culture such as Dance, Theater and Performing arts, that will be published in 2007.
    Wrote for Komei Newspaper.

Prospects for Japanese Contemporary Dance
In our rapidly changing society, I hope to encourage people to pursue
their dance careers to their full potentials.
