Shigeto Nuki was born in 1956.
1956: Reveived Masters degree of Tokyo University.
1988: Became associated professor of faculty of liberal art in Saitama University.
2000: Became professor of school of litereture in Senshu University.
1986: Studied at University of Wuppertal, Germany as a researcher.
1996: Studied at University of Wuppertal, with a scholarship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
1993: Started writing critical essays of dance performances.
Became a member of the Japanese Society for Dance Research in 1998, Japan Association of Cultural Economics in 2000, and Japan Dance Forum in 2004.
