To whom concerned with halls and spaces (meaning people who works or owns the venue)
Outline for the Hall: We tailor everything- the stage, sound, lighting-to your needs, in a space that inspires infinite possibilities for theater, dance, concerts, cinema, exhibitions, and parties. Combine a space that is freedom itself and a creative imagination, and the result will be artistic breakthroughs.
Outline for the Space: Three separate spaces, each with white walls, white pillars, and wooden floors, for exhibitions-photographs, paintings, objects, videos-and for conferences, lectures, and small-scale performances.
We opened the hall in April 2002 to aim at establishing the following “Creating and Communicating” and “generate prosperity”.
We place and develop that contemporary dance and contemporary art to be “Creating and Communicating”, and that the work to support exhibition for graduation works for universities of Art and the like to be “discovery and education” and that to be the base for festivals which has popularity, the capability to deliver information, and the capability to collect audiences and to hold international events such as commemorative year and sister cities to be “capability to collect audiences“.
We develop Yokohama dance collection R and engage in discovering and delivering the choreographers as the only dance market in Asia. We have directors from France, Spain, Korea and the like as in the title of “ From delivering from Japan to delivering from the world” and 38 of the prize winners have managed to perform 307 performances （by 2005） at various places all over the world. We cultivate the market function as the place for the presentations for the overseas and we host the performance project of which has never been done in Japan.
We are aiming to deliver even more to the overseas.

Yokohama Solo×Duo＜Competition＞＋
It discovers and delivers rising choreographers through each department of solo and duo group as the gateway to be the choreographer on the rise. It has diverse judges and calls the discovery of new talent. The main attraction is the opportunity to perform overseas such as studying in France, performing in Paris and also performing at Yokohama Red Warehohuse.

Contemporary Dance Showcase
The artists, mainly the prize winners at Yokohama Dance Collection give presentations freely and introduce various Asian dances to the overseas.

Dance Director Conference
It provides the opportunity to create and purchase the management base for Asian dance where local land international directors for dance festivals and dance directors can gather and to originate new projects.
