Hello daring dungeon delvers!

As part of Month of the Mad God, we have a new event that will help you and your friends spend more time running dungeons together!
The basics of the event is this: We name a dungeon, and players go, run that dungeon, beat the bosses face in, and take a screenshot of them saying a certain phrase. They post this screenshot in this thread. Then, 50% of all entries (chosen randomly) will be lucky winners! They will receive a key for the same dungeon they just ran. You have pretty good odds of getting a free key, or a 2 for 1 on any purchased key!

This event's dungeon: Haunted Cemetery

Rules:

• You must post your entry in this thread before the event ends.
• 1 entry per account
• You must post a screenshot of you fighting the boss/defeating the boss.
• You must be saying "Chupacabra!" in the post.
• You must take the SS after the final boss of the dungeon is defeated.

Rewards:

• 50% of all valid entries will receive 1x Haunted Cemetery Key

Hints:

• Have "Chupacabra!" copied and ready to paste. You will probably want to take the SS right as the boss spawns, or right as it dies. Or you could do it mid fight, I suppose.

Dates:

• This event runs today through tomorrow, 6/10 11:59 pm PDT.

• This event will be paid out 1 Business day after it ends, so 6/11 PDT.

Month of the Mad God: [SALE] First Time Spender - Free Vault + Grapes of Wrath

Realmers Rejoice!

If you have been eyeing a new character slot, or maybe you are tired of farming up your pets from the bottom, but are on the fence - this is the perfect time for you!

We are running a First Time Spender event. This means that any player who has never bought gold can buy ANY AMOUNT of gold, and receive a free gift! Pretty straighforward right? Read below for more details.

Rules:

• The account must have never purchased gold before.
• You can buy ANY gold amount to qualify.
• Kabam reward points gold does not count, you must purchase the gold.
• This means you need to BUY gold, not SPEND gold in the nexus or on packages/mystery boxes

This event runs today, 6/9/(all purchases made today count, even purchases before this post) through 11:59 pm PDT 6/15
The prizes will be paid out 3 business days after the event ends, so 6/18 PDT.

Month of the Mad God: Find the GM Part 2!

We are back with another Find the GM! We have made some small tweaks are we are ready to once again run from the ravenous horde!

How to Play:
The game goes like this. RF and Myself will hop into separate servers and run into a realm. We will then run around, willy nilly, shouting silly things. It is up to players to find us and take a screenshot with you saying "GM YOU SMELL FUNNY!" Then post the screenshot in this thread! This time we will act a little differently in game, based on some feedback we received.

Recap: PLEASE READ THERE ARE SMALL CHANGES THIS TIME!

• You must have yourself, and one of the GM's in your screenshot.
• You must have your character saying "GM YOU SMELL FUNNY!" in the screenshot.
• You must post the screenshot in this thread before the event ends.
• You must list the spelling of your in game name in the post or your entry will be invalid. (Dont make switch write it down from the screenshot.

Hints!

• We will be moving pretty fast. If only players had the ability to teleport to other players...
• You may want to write "GM YOU SMELL FUNNY!" in a text document and copy it, so you can just paste it in chat.

[Forum Event] RotMG Commercial

You've all seen those Mastercard commercials. Ones like this, or this, maybe this one. There are a lot of them and although not all of them are silly like the ones I linked, they're all awesome commercials! Now, I want to see YOU make a RotMG Mastercard commercial!

How to Participate:

• The video MUST be at least 30 seconds, but no longer then 2 minutes. Entries over 2 minutes will be disqualified.
• The entire video must be Realm of the Mad God related. You can use in game or out of game footage, but it must be about Realm of the Mad God.
• Your video/commercial must have some form of storytelling or narration. Stories must have some form of text or voice explaining whats going on. Ask yourself, If I didn't play Realm of the Mad God would I understand whats going on right now？
• Videos must be uploaded to YouTube before you'll be able to submit them here. The YouTube must be set to Public and Embedding must be enabled.
• "Realm of the Mad God Mastercard Commercial" must be in the title of your entry somewhere.

Guidelines and Rules:

• All rules and prizes are subject to change.
• Entries must adhere to the Terms of Service and be PG-13 or less.
• You may only enter ONCE.

[Month of the Mad God] IN GAME EVENT: Dungeon Divers (revised!)

Greetings! We are back with another Dungeon Divers!

This time, we are going to change the event quite a bit, based of feedback from the last event. Starting at 2:00pm PDT, NullBot and RFSwitch are going to be opening dungeons! They will be in multiple servers at once (oooOOOOoooo) and invisible, so just keep an eye out for those portals!

This time, we are not advertising that the GM's will enter the dungeon with players, making this more of a portal spawn event. The reasoning? It causes a lot of logistical problems. For players to have an enjoyable experience in these dungeons, we can only have so many in there with us - and that really limits the amount of impact we can have. We want to run events that many players can enjoy, not just a few. In the last event, we had players skipping open portals waiting for us. This causes extreme crowding, and at the same time tons of dungeons with only a few players in them. Lose Lose. So now, we may enter a dungeon.. but you wont know. We are invisible. Instead, we will be opening a wider variety of dungeons at a slightly slower pace on multiple servers at once. This should reduce the huge crowds following us from server to server - and instead give players a chance to run dungeons with other community members.

Also, we are limiting ourselves to the following servers: USS2, USS3, EUN2, EUW2, EUS and USW3. These will be our "event servers." This way, those that do not wish to participate are not forced to deal with the crowds they cause.

Recap:

• At 2:00 pm PDT, Null and Switch will log in and proceed to the LEFT Bazaar on the following servers: USS2, USS3, EUN2, EUW2, EUS and USW3
• They will then open multiple dungeons on all servers at once. No need to hop servers, just be on the lookout for portals.
• The GM's will open a variety of portals.

Hints:

• This is still Realm. If you die in a dungeon, you died. You know a lot of players are going to be coming along, so we just want to make sure you realize what you are getting into before you enter. If your character dies during the event, we are sorry for your loss but dying is dying, you will not get your character back.

Prizes:

Month of the Mad God: Lil Red and B.B. Wolf

Aww yiss, back with more of that Mad God Month Mayhem. Today we released two new skins into the game. These were made by community member RotMGBeige a while back, and we just fell in love with them.
Introducing Lil red (Mystic skin) and B.B. Wolf (Warrior skin) So we put them in the game. Bam. Oh yeah - and Lil Red is FREE! Just log in and purchase the Lil Red package for 0 gold! There is a limit of 1 per account, and the account has to be made before 6/11/14, but other than that.. have at it!

Lil Red will be available for approximately 24 hours, coming down around 4:00 pm PDT 6/13.

If you want to complete the set B.B.Wolf is available in a mystery box right now as well!

Although it's an inevitable part of Realm, getting killed sucks! You worked hard on your character then BAM! Oryx kicks your teeth in and you have to start all over again. From scratch. With nothing. Month of the Mad God: [In Games Event] Oryx Talks #2: The Softer Side of Oryx

Hello again! Today we have another in game event for Month of the Mad God!

We all know and love Oryx, the ever charismatic god who presides over this realm. Or, do we? I mean. We break into his house and steal his stuff a lot, and sure are keen on killing his pets but... has anyone ever taken the time to try to get to know him?

Well we think it's about time we got to know Oryx a little bit better. So, for today's event, we want you to keep an eye out for any unusual things Oryx may say in game. These will be outside of the normal messages Oryx sends out to the realm. You will likely know them when you see them. If you catch one of these more personal moments, grab a screenshot and post it in this thread. 10 Lucky winners will receive a prize.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!
If you are quick enough to say "ORYX WE'RE JUST FRIENDS" in chat and capture it, and Oryx's text in the screenshot, you will automatically win a prize! This does not disqualify you from the 10 lucky winners, so you can win double!

Recap:

• Today, between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, keep an eye out for Oryx saying some unusual things (Such as song lyrics.)
