  • Pixel Editor でキャラクタースキン(側面, 正面, 背面の3つ)を作成しフォーラムに応募。入賞作はゲーム内に実装される可能性が高い(入賞しなくても実装されたものもあります)。
  • Halloween Edition となっているが特に募集要項にはハロウィンに関連したドットでなければならないといった記述はないので、過去2回と同様のスキン用ドットの募集と考えて良さそう。マッドゴッドスキンのような16×16のものも対象になるかの明記はないが、今回応募要項に「創造性を発揮して！ 自由に発想しよう！」の一文が追加されているので16×8, 16×16サイズもありかも。
  • 10/11に募集要項が追加されました("ガイドラインとルール"の青字の部分)。Halloween ぽい要素が必要なようです。
  • 各クラスで入賞があると案内にあるので、不人気なクラスや既存のスキンの少ないクラスを狙うのもいいかも。
  • 未実装だがスキン画像だけクライアントにある実装待ちデータが存在するので類似のものは避けたほうがいいかも。

参加方法:

ドット作成ツール を使用して独自のデザインを作成する必要があります。

ドット作成ツールの使用法および画像のアップロード方法はこちらを確認してください。

デザインは以下の要項に従うこと(サンプルを見て下さい):

作成したいキャラクターには、次の3つ別々のスプライトの作成が必須です:

  • 左側面
  • 前面
  • 背面
 

例:

  • 自分のスキンが完成したら、無料の画像アップローダ(Imgur, Tinypic, Photobucket)にアップロードすること。
  • 次にこのスレッドに、自分のスキン、フォーラムでの名前、タグ:Realmway#3をつけて返信する必要があります。
    (訳者注: たぶんPixel Editorのタグにフォーラムでの名前と"Realmway3"をつけろという意味だと思う)

ガイドラインとルール:

  • すべてのルールと賞品は変更される場合があります。
  • 作品はこのルールと利用規約のガイドラインに従うこと。
  • デザインしたものは適切であること！(13歳以下のPGに適合すること)
  • 1つのアカウントはだけで参加でき、複数アカウント使用した者は失格です！
  • 有効な投稿には正確なつづりの自分のキャラクターの名前が必須です
  • みなさんの多くがもうそうやって作成していますが、我々はより "spooky(気味の悪い,おばけ,幽霊)/scary(恐ろしい,薄気味悪い)" なタイプのスキンを探しています! それぞれのクラスでの入賞があるので、すべてのクラスにスキンを作成することを奨励したい。

投稿受付は 2014/10/20月曜日-23:59PDT(日本時間 2014/10/21-15:59)で締め切ります。必ずその時までに作品を投稿してください！

コミュニティの投票にかけるデザインを開発チームが選出します。投票は 2014/10/23木曜日-11:59PDT(日本時間 2014/10/23-15:59)で終了します！

 

賞品:

一番得票したデザイン: Ambrosia? 4個

選出された5つのデザイン: Super Burger? 3個と好きなダンジョンキー3個！(対象となるダンジョンキーのリストを参照)

Remember back in February and June we did this and this? It gave the community an opportunity to show off their designs and creative style! Maybe you missed it, forgot about it, or didn't have enough time to finish up that fabulous outfit! Well, here's your chance! Welcome to the thrid installment of:

 
Project Realmway: Halloween Edition!
 

How to Participate:

You will need to create your design by using the draw tool.

Instructions on how the draw tool works and how to upload images can be found here.

Your design must also adhere the the following specifics (see example below):

MUST create 3 separate sprites of the character you'd like to create:

  • Left Facing
  • Front Facing
  • Back Facing
 

Example:

  • After your Skin has been completed, you must upload the image to a free host (Imgur, Tinypic, Photobucket)
  • Next you will need to reply to this thread with your Skin, forum name and the Tag: Realmway#3
  • For reference, you can learn how to Upload and Post an image here.
 

Guidelines and Rules:

  • All rules and prizes are subject to change.
  • Your entry must follow the rules and guidelines of the ToS.
  • Keep what you design appropriate! (PG-13 or less)
  • You may only enter with one account, anyone using more than one will be disqualified!
  • A valid entry MUST also include the exact spelling of your character name
  • Most of you have already done so, but we're looking for more "spooky/scary" type of skins! We'd like to encourage you to make skins for ALL classes as there will be a runner-up for EACH class!
  • Be creative! Think "outside of the box"!
 

Event Starts: Tuesday, October 7

Submissions will be accepted until 11:59pm PDT on Monday, October 20. Be sure to have your submissions posted before then!

The RotMG team will choose designs that the community will then vote on. Voting will be concluded at 11:59pm PDT on Thursday, October 23!

 

Prizes:

The Design with the most votes will receive: Ambrosia x4

The 5 Designs will each receive: Superburger x3 AND 3 Dungeon Keys of your choice! (See below for a list of eligible keys)
