As mentioned in the stupid, stupid lag creatures link, we are now opening the test server for a limited time: select "testing" in server selection or go to testing.realmofthemadgod.com.

We're testing out some fast fixes to lag, and need more people to test on it.

There is otherwise no new content on the test server. No free gold at this time folks, but also no new amulet curses.

We're not sure how long it'll be up, and we may have to restart it based on what we find.

We will be looking at opening it for longer as soon as we have more for you to test on a longer baseline.

Nexusリデザイン
Nexus にいくつかの変更を加えました。テストサーバーを見てあなたの考えをフォーラムのコメント欄にください。

  • 開始地点(倉庫やギルドホールのポータルのあるところ)とアイテム売り場がまとめられて大きくなった。
  • この新しいマーケットエリアは一度により幅広い種類のアイテムを販売可能とします。今や特定の染料やペットを探してたくさんのサーバーを飛び回る必要はなくなった。

A new build is up on Testing! Things we've added:

New dungeon to help us ramp up to Halloween:
Candyland Hunting Grounds - this will be the first bit fo Halloween content you guys see, but not the last! You can expect to see some spookier stuff coming closer to all hallows eve.

Nexus re-design:
We've made some changes to the Nexus. Take a look at it on Testing and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

  • The Spawn area (with the Vault and Guild portals) and Shop have now been combined and made larger
  • This new Market area allows for a wider variety of items to be sold at one time. Now you don't have to hop between servers as much to check for a specific dye or pet.

Hey guys,
I know that I had posted before mentioning the Candyland Hunting Grounds, but now that it is finally ACTUALLY on testing, I thought I'd make another post so you all have a fresh place to comment/talk about it.

We've also added in some new potions:
Loot Tier Potion, and the Loot Drop Potion - remember, although these potions should help good fighters get better loot easier, you STILL have to be a good fighter to get the loot in the first place. I hope these potions benefit you all and make for some exciting times.

Specialized loot meaning loot

Specialized loot meaning loot that is specifically scripted to drop only in that once place (holy water for instance)

Loot Drop Potion will increase your chance of getting anything that an enemy can drop, including UT.

The %s may very for the Tier potion, but it works similar to a slot machine/jackpot. There is a decent chance that it'll +1 something, a rare chance it'll +2 it, and an even rarer chance it'll +3 it. We are still playing with balance to get it perfect, but we are going to make sure that it'll hit somewhere that'll make it worth while for skilled players (who can actually get a bunch of loot in 30 min), and'll give super lucky players great drops-without unbalancing the way loot is spread thorough the game.

Responses

Loot potions will be soulbound. Please remember this is TESTING people- not the final release. I think they will appear as soulbound in the next testing update.

Also: the loot potion, and loot tier potions defiantly work: just because you get a T6 from a monster capable of dropping a T6 doesn't mean that it was upgraded from that same monster's more common T4 or 5 drop. Remember: you have to GET the item in the first place: so if you dont earn the very best loot the monster is capable of dropping, then you're just going to get a better drop, not an awesome one. This is a tool that will help good players get great stuff, and shitty players get decent stuff. (until they die that is Laughing out loud )

ALSO:
PLEASE write more on the candyland dungeon!!!! I'm still balancing it, and I'd love the feedback.

In response to what was said on it so far:

  1. im going to make monsters spawn a little faster / more
  2. i'll take a look at the boss attacks if I can - this isn't meant to be a brutal dungeon, more of a fun one, but i still want it to be exciting.
