概要 
2014年より毎年6月1日から開催されていたマッドゴッド月間(Month of the Mad God, MotMG)。今年は7月にKabamからDecaへ開発運営の移管が行なわれたことから、7月の中旬からという変則的な期間での開催になった。

- イベントのアナウンスはSil3xが担当している。Facebookのみで告知する場合もある。
- 日付は日本時間。イベント終了日は適当なので参加の際は注意のこと。
- Redditを利用したコミュニティイベントでは通常のコメントをイベントスレッドに投稿すると当選の権利を失うものが存在する。
- 無料アイテムはMotMG開催以前に作成されたアカウントのみで取得できる。
- アイテム販売は通常24時間前後で終了する。

8/16 Fameボックスと無料アイテムの更新について
皆さん、
少し前に第1弾のFameミステリーボックスについて話したことは記憶にあると思います。そのときに発覚した問題は、今もあまり解決していません。Fameボックスの中身と今あるFameの釣り合いをとって、ゲームを氾濫させずに良い体験を誰にでも保証するのはほとんど不可能です。
これらボックスのようなものを買うか見送るかはプレイヤーが自由に判断できると思っていますが、反応として「高価すぎる」や「アイテムが良くない」から「Fameで何か買えるのが面白い」や「クールなレアアイテム」まで幅広くいただきました。否定的な意見から明らかになったのは、効果的な配布方法として無料ギフトが遥かに単純であるということです。私たちの主な目標は全プレイヤーに何か良い事をすることですが、誰にでも正しくはできないことは知っています 
このため、Fameボックスを撤去して追加の無料ギフトで置き換えました。将来的にも何か幅広く無料で配布したいときにはこの機能を使い続けます。同時に、イベントルートチェスト機能をもっと使い、ダンジョンボスのそばにアイテムを入れて出現させます。
さて、その移行の準備は完璧に整ったはずです。たまたま今、イベントルートチェストは一部のダンジョンで稀にしか出現しないからです。それについては別のポストをご覧ください。
A brief update on fame boxes & free items
Dear community,
You may remember our initial thoughts about fame mystery chests that we shared a while back. The issue that we ran into back then, hasn’t changed much, it is next to impossible to balance out the items in a fame box with the amount of fame out there to guarantee a good experience for everybody while also not flooding the game.
Even though we thought that players can freely decide to buy or skip on boxes like this, we get a wide range of responses from “it’s too expensive” over “the items are not good enough” to “it’s fun to have anything for fame at all” or “cool rare items”. The clear realization reading the negative comments, is that the free gifts are a far simpler method of effective distribution. Since our main goal is to do something nice for all players - knowing that you can’t make it right for everybody
For this reason, we pulled the fame box and replaced it with an additional free gift instead. In the future, we will keep using this feature when we want to widely distribute something for free. At the same time, we will start making more use of our Event Loot Chest feature that can be loaded up with items and can spawn near dungeon bosses.
Now it seems we have lined us up with the perfect transition, because incidentally, the Event Loot Chest is currently spawning with a rare chance in some of our dungeons. Check out this post for more on the topic.

8/16 [イベント] レアイベントルートチェストが一部ダンジョンに出現します
realmプレイヤーの皆さん!
言い伝えによると特別なイベントルートチェストが一部のダンジョンに出現しているそうです… ただひとつの問題は、どこなのか探さないといけないことです…
冗談です。どこに出現するか教えましょう ただ注意として、とてもレアなチェストなのでまず毎回見られるわけではありません。見つけたなら、5人までのプレイヤーが99% Rosen Blade Skinを入手でき、1%のラッキーなプレイヤーはRing of Decadesが手に入ります。(訳注:スキンは5人確定ドロップ、リング(他、追加リスキン)は1人確定ドロップ。)
イベントルートボックスを探せるダンジョンはDavy Jones' Locker, Ocean Trench, Shattersです。イベントは9/1まで続きます。また他のリスキンアイテム(Bow of the Morning Star & Sword of Illumination)も同じだけ期限を延長しました。
Ring of Decadesが死よりも先にあなたを見つけてくれるよう幸運を祈ります。楽しんでください!
[Event] Rare Event Loot Boxes spawning in some dungeons now
Players of the realm!
Legend has it that special event loot chests are spawning in some dungeons out there… the only complication is, you will have to find them…
Just kidding, we will tell you where they spawn Know this though, we are talking about very rare chests and you will definitely not see them on every run. If you encounter them though, you will get a 99% chance to get the Rosen Blade Skin for up to 5 players of the dungeon run or if you belong to the lucky 1%, the Ring of Decades.
The dungeons you can run to try and find the event loot box are Davy Jones' Locker, Ocean Trench or the Shatters. The event will last until the 1st of September 2016. We have also decided to extend the drop of the other re-skinned items until then (Bow of the Morning Star & Sword of Illumination).
