Definition

a and b are infinite cardinals.
A topological space is called imgtex.fcgi?%5bres=100%5d%7b$%5ba%2cb%5d%5er$%7d%25.png -chain compact if every chain net with the regular cardinality from a to b (note that the cardinal may be equal to a or b) has a convergent cofinal subnet.
