Definition

Let X be a topological space, I an ideal on X.
X is called I-compact or compact modulo I if every open cover U of X contains a finite subcollection F such that imgtex.fcgi?%5bres=100%5d%7b$X%5csetminus%20%5ccup%5cmathcal%7bF%7d%5cin%20%5cmathcal%7bI%7d$%7d%25.png .
