Main text

Well, this is the place that Georgie Piggy was last seen.

House is the first chapter in Piggy: Book 1, the third chapter in the Piggy timeline, and the first chapter overall in the Piggy franchise. The player is introduced to most of the basic items of the game, including keys, safes, guns, hammers, and wrenches. The player is also introduced to gimmicks like fall damage, lasers and vents. Penny Piggy is the canonical bot for this map, though the previous bot was Little Brother, as it was the main bot throughout the game until School released. The skins added along with this chapter are Piggy, Little Brother, Mother, Father, and Sheepy. Distorted Memory is an altered version of this chapter.

Appearance

This map is a five-story house, including a basement and an underground garage. There is also a small backyard with a brown shed and a dining room with a long brown table, a black and white colored kitchen, a small living room with a couch and table, a main/lobby room, a simple bathroom with a shower and sink, a bedroom with a brown bunk bed, and an attic.

Storyline

The Player is a police officer tasked to find a child named Georgie Piggy, who had been missing for unknown reasons. When the Player gets out of their car, they hear some strange sound. After they say that, someone sneaks up behind them and bashes them on the head. When the Player finally wakes up in the kids' bedroom, they realize they have been kidnapped and try to get out, but they find Penny Piggy waking up shortly after. Penny starts chasing them around, but the Player escapes and says that Penny looks familiar, though it is likely that they have never seen her before. The Player returns to the police station to report what they just experienced.

Trivia

Before the game became popular, this was supposed to be the only map in the game.
It is similar to the house in Granny in several ways, for example, the staircase is in the same location and lobby/main room.
A picture of Sonic the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed can be found on the back of the green towel in the bathroom.
This chapter, along with Gallery, Winter Holiday, RB Battles Studio, and RB Battles Spaceship are the only maps in Piggy that do not have any notes.
MiniToon first confirmed in a livestream that he would add an ending cutscene to this chapter. This was then added along with ending cutscenes of Station and Gallery.
It is possible to get fall damage on the second floor of the map by going forward and spam jumping on the fence of it. It is because the hitbox that activates the falling damage event extends far enough for it to be able to be hit from there.
There are windows which can be seen outside but can't be seen inside located above the escape door.
When Penny attacks you in the opening cutscene, the oink sound effect is the oink sound effect of a Minecraft pig.
It is also the exact same sound Georgie makes when he stuns the Piggy in Plant.
This was one of the four chapters to have Little Brother as a bot, before removing it in the Chapter 5 Update. The others being Station, Gallery, and Forest.
This is one of the few chapters which was decorated for Halloween. The others being Forest, School, Carnival, and Alleys.
On Halloween, Mr. Stitchy will be visible when looking outside the window next to the vent near the red key room on the third floor.
This is MiniToon's second favorite chapter in Piggy and his favorite Book 1 chapter.
According to MiniToon, if House is to be added to Piggy: Intercity, it will be redesigned.
For the April Fools 2021 update, the name for this chapter was renamed to "Gurt's House", and the ending cutscene was changed accordingly.
This has been reverted, as April Fool's had passed.
This map was a part of the Gold Piggy skin puzzle, once you completed the puzzle, a safe would open in the top of the house and would reveal the Gold Piggy Trophy, once you clicked it you were able to equip the Gold Piggy skin.
The icon for the chapter uses a photo of the original version of the house, the version with pictures taken from Peppa Pig. This is probably because MiniToon didn't notice or didn't care to change it due to there being few differences.
This chapter has the second-highest amount of people having earned the badge, being 57M as of December 9th, 2023. It is behind Carnival, with 100M people having earned it.
This was the only map in Sketchy. It got renamed to "sketch’s home" and had the colors of the walls and changed the pictures.
For the April Fools 2024 update, this chapter's name was renamed "House.EXE DO NOT PLAY (SCARY)." The map was modified to be a nod to many old Area 51 Roblox games, with you starting above ground in a Military base with an elevator that goes downwards, and this will then bring you down into an area with a door leading into the backyard of the original House map. The whole map was underground, the walls were redone to be stone rather than wood, the map was incredibly dark, resulting in you being given a flashlight, and the ending cutscene was changed.
During April Fools 2024, The Green Key is used on the elevator, bringing you down into the rest of the map.
Due to the green Key being used on the elevator, there was no green door in the modified map version.
During April Fools 2024, the modified version of this map would sometimes not spawn the Red Key, resulting in a softlock.
The flashlight on "House.EXE DO NOT PLAY (SCARY)." could actually be equipped by the infected.
