General Property

Cursor

[Free Cursor] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

It becomes a free cursor mode when keeping effective.
The cursor (caret and Calet) can be moved from the line-feed sign to the right side by changing to this mode.
The cursor is a vertical line and a block, etc. that blink to the character input position in the client area in the window.

[Stop at both ends of word when wording moving] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

It comes to stop at not only the other an edge of the word but also both ends when "Move Word Left" and "Move Word Right" are executed.

[Stop at both ends of paragraph when paragraphing moving] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

It comes to stop by the start of the paragraph and the last both when moving when "Prev Paragraph" and "Next Paragraph" are executed.

[Cursor is not moved in making actively by mouse click] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

The cursor moves to the position in which the mouse was clicked regardless of actively/actively non-when it is invalid.
Only the window is made active in the mouse click when it is non-active when keeping effective, and the cursor position is not moved.

Cursor Shape

The shape of the cursor can be selected.

[Windows Like] RadioButton (default: Checked)

A thin vertical line in insert mode.
The rectangle in overwrite mode as big as one character.

[MS-DOS Like] RadioButton (default: Non-Checked)

About 1/2 characters' in 1 character in width and height worth of a quadrangle in insert mode.
The quadrangle in overwrite mode as big as one character.

Task Tray

[Use Task Tray] CheckBox (default: Checked)

It is set whether to make the icon in the task tray.
Pop up is displayed to each task tray menu when left/right-clicking in the task tray icon.

[Resident Task Tray] CheckBox (default: Checked)

It sets whether to reside in the task tray.

• The icon remains in the task tray even if all the edit windows are shut when residing.
  If all ends of the Sakura-Editor are executed from the menu etc. , it ends.

• The icon of the task tray ends, too, when all the edit windows are shut when not residing.

[Shortcut of Left-Click Menu] Shortcut (default: Ctrl+Alt+Z)

When the Sakura-Editor starts or it resides in the task tray, the left-click menu of the task tray can be called by the key operation.
The hot key for that is defined here.
There is a possibility that the key is used by other applications when not functioning well.

Scroll

[Number of Lines] EditBox (default: 3)

When scrolling with [Up] and [Down] keys etc., the number of lines that scroll at a time are set.

[Reed Little] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

The scroll smoothes a little when keeping effective.
In the personal computer that CPU power is low and the scroll is slow, invalidating is comfortable.

[Use Screen Cash] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

CPU load when the screen doesn't scroll to a cursor movement etc. alone falls when keeping effective.
The effect can be especially expected in the processing of a cursor positional vertical line etc. according to the environment used.

History

[Max of File History] EditBox (default: 15)

The maximum number of histories of the file used recently (Up to 36) is set.
However, the one from removable mass storage doesn't enter the history.

[Clear History] Button

The history of the file used recently is cleared.

[Max of Folder History] EditBox (deafult: 15)

The maximum number of histories of the folder used recently (Up to 36) is set.
However, the one from removable mass storage doesn't enter the history.

[Confirm when Close All] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

(sakura:1.5.15.0 or later)
When shutting collectively when keeping effective of two or more windows operates, the end is confirmed.
However, whenever the unpreservation is filed, preservation is confirmed at any time.

[Confirm when Exit Sakura-Editor] CheckBox (default: Non-Checked)

The end is confirmed when keeping effective when there is one edit window or more.
However, whenever the unpreservation is filed, preservation is confirmed at any time.

[Setting Folder] Button

The setting folder button is displayed only when setting it according to the user.
