　Duck - カモ、アヒル

カモ。アヒル。小さな水鳥。長い首、パワフルな泳ぎのできる足を持つ。

Duckは家畜用の鳥です。オスの個体はDrakeとして知られています。若い個体はDucklingsとして知られています。数少ない、屋外で野生のままに見つかる家畜化の可能な鳥です。
Duckは一般的な家禽の内では最も小さな体を持っています。小さすぎてButcher（屠殺・解体）する必要もありません。 They take two years to grow to full size, and have a relatively short lifespan. These qualities make raising ducks a poor choice for a meat industry. However, on average, ducks lay the second most eggs of any domestic bird (8-13, exceeded only by turkeys' 10-14), and, like all domestic poultry, grow to adulthood in one year, making them a decent choice for egg production.
