Feruz Bahar Primary School (دبستان فروز بهار) is a primary school in Afghanistan? that was built with 2 channel users' donating. The building was built on 16th August 2004.
History
The history started with a thread on 2 channel (Now: 5 channel) in 2002. The thread is "Er, I wanna build a school in Afghanistan".
Some people said that the action was hypocrisy, but the members made a slogan, 'Practising hypocrisy is better than not practising heartfelt action,' and continued acting.
The donated money went to an NGO 'Save the Children Japan' that made actions in Afghanistan, which was supposed to build and manage the school.
Building the school costed 3 Million JPY (about 30 thousand USD or 19,734 GBD), but the donated money was 943 thousand JPY.
However, the school itself was completely built on 16 Aug 2004 and was named "Feruz Bahar Primary School". On the wall of the building, a board was set. It said the members' name, Moner*1 and its adress.
