アメリカ横断記

1911年、アメリカ国境付近に位置するブラックウォーターの街に一隻の蒸気船が到着する。
三人の男が肩を並べて下船したが、仲睦まじさは微塵もなく、張り詰めた緊張感ばかりが流れている。政府の人間なのだろう背広の男二人に見送られ、時代遅れのガンマンが一人、列車に乗り込んだ。
それから数時間ほど時は流れ、荒野の中心、埃の舞う田舎町アルマジロ。飲んだくれ、娼婦、荒くれもので賑わう酒場で一人の仲介人が男の姿を認めた。
「あんた、ジョン・マーストンだな？」
男は答えた。
「そうかもな」
皮肉を好む男だった。

ミッションフローチャート

ニューオースティンの拠点、アルマジロのアルマジロ駅からゲームがスタートする。
移動と視点移動、ダッシュの方法を学んだら、駅から降りて左手に見える酒場に入ろう。
案内役のジェイクと軽い挨拶を終えたら、初めての乗馬が始まる。
加速（Aまたは×）ボタン押しっぱなしで対話者と並走できる。今後もこのテクニックは使うのでぜひとも覚えておこう。
フォートマーサ―に辿り付いたら、下馬してそのまま正門へと歩いていく。
再びカットシーンが始まり、ミッション完了となる。

元ギャングのマーストンはある取引の為に過去の仲間を追ってニューオースティンまでやってきたようだ。
かつての仲間であったビル・ウィリアムソンは堅気となったマーストンを拒絶し、部下が発砲。
致命傷を負い、荒野に放置されたマーストン。
あわれ野垂れ死にかと思いきや、そんな彼を幸運が味方する。

ミッション完了報酬

終了後、自動的にNEW FRIENDS, OLD PROBLEMSが開始される

ゴールドメダル獲得条件

4:15以内にクリア
カットシーン中もカウントされるため、ゴールドメダルを狙うなら全てスキップ（Bまたは〇）する事。
