BEAR ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS(互いの重荷を背負って)
GREAT MEN ARE NOT ALWAYS WISE(偉人に知恵の確約なし)と、

- Agent Ross : Ah, yes. Another group of renegades, obviously, the first group, your group has, shall we say, been disbanded.

- John : Ross, have'em release this man.

objective
- Accompany Agent Ross to the Serendipity.
- Agent Ross : Isn't this something? Lawmakers and lawbreakers working together for the good for civilisation?
- Fordham : Like you always say, sir, the higher the stakes, the smarter you have to play the game.

- Agent Ross : Now, what else can I recall from the files? Oh let's see.

- Agent Ross : You killed hundreds of innocent people. You robbed at least 40 banks that we're aware of...

- Fordham : I'm glad this is all such a joke to ya.
- John : I want my family.
- Agent Ross : And I'm sure all the men you murdered wanted their families too. Come now, you're stupid, but you're not that stupid. We both know how this has to be.
- Agent Ross : And it could all be over today. As soon as we find Dutch van der Linde, you can go back home and play being a farmer again, or whatever else you've been pretending to do for the last few years.
- John : First it was Bill, now it's Dutch. After Dutch, it'll be somebody else. Where does it end?

Mr.Marston、この自動車をどう思う?
- John : Slow.
- Agent Ross : But so convernient and reliable. Are you comfortable?
- John : No.
- Agent Ross : You see this, Mr.Fordham? The brooding cowboy. There aren't many of these left, you know.
- 聞いたかね、Mr.Fordham?
- Agent Ross : A bit of a cliche, admittedly, but still a dying breed. Like the buffalo, just as dumb but not quite as noble.
- Fordham : They move most cows by rail these days, I hear.

- Fordham : But you aren't from anywhere.
- Agent Ross : A new dawn is breaking, Mr.Marston. This is the age of the machine.
- John : And soon we'll all be livin'on the moon.
- Agent Ross : Maybe. This is the future. Anything is possible.
- Agent Ross : Finally this godforsaken land is entering the twentieth century. Prosperity has arrived.
- Agent Ross : It's not far now. The old Serendipity wreck has been used as an occasional criminal hideout for years.
- Agent Ross : We were informed that Van der Linde and his gang are making camp there.
- Agent Ross : We'll stop on the cliff adove and you and Agent Fordham will go on foot.
- Agent Ross : I'll stay with the vehicle and keep watch.
- Fordham : And you'll do as I say, Marston. Don't try anything stupid.
- Marston、
- Agent Ross : Oh, I think he knows what's at stake. Don't you, Mr.Marston?
Mr.Marston?
- John : Lets find Dutch and finish this.
- Dutch
- Fordham : Right. Let's go, Mr.Marston.
行くぞ、Mr.Marston。
objective
- Accompany Agent Fordham.
- Agent Fordham
- Fordham : Keep quiet and stay close.
- John : Yes, sir.
- Fordham : Van der Linde is the priority. We go in, take him down and get the hell out of here.
- Van der Linde
- Fordham : Quick and clean.
- John : You leave Dutch to me. We don't want you getting' that suit dirty.
- Fordham : If you step out of line even once...well, I hope you're aware of the consequences.
- Fordham : Seems real quiet, don't you think?
- John : You tell me.
- Fordham : Maybe Dutch caught wind of things.
- Fordham : That informant better not have been lying to us. Keep your eyes open.
- John : They are open. I don't see nothin'.
- Fordham : It doesn't feel right. This place is usually teeming with lowlifes.
- Fordham : Did you hear that? Go see what's happening up there. I'll wait here.

- Fordham : Hurry. There's somebody up there!
- John : Over here! I've found him!

- Fordham : Good God, that's our informant. Nastas, what the hell's going on here?
- Nastas : It's a trap!
- Fordham : Shit. Marston, you'll have to carry this man. I don't think he can walk.
objective
- Carry Nastas to the car.
- Nastas
- Fordham : That's all of them. Come on, let's head for the pier!
- Fordham : I can't see any more of them! Come on, follow me!
- Agent Ross : Who's this? What in God's name is going on?
objective
- Put Nastas in the car.
- Nastas
- Agent Ross : Marston, lift this fellow into the back seat.
- Marston、
- Fordham : Put him in the car, so we can get out of here!
- Fordham : Let's go, there might be more of them.
objective
- Ride to Blackwater
- Brackwater
- Agent Ross : Christ alive! What the hell happened down there?
- Fordham : It was a trap. They were waiting for us.
- Agent Ross : And who is this savage? A prisoner?
- Fordham : This is the informant, sir.
- Agent Ross : Do you speak English?
- Fordham : Yes he does, sir. He's the informant. Nastas.
- Agent Ross : Don't get snarky with me, Fordham.
- Fordham : We found him tied up on the boat. Then they jumped us.
- John : Nice of you to help us out. Hell of a plan sendin'in two men to take on an entire gang of outlaws.
- John : Especially when one of them's an office clerk, or social secretary or some such.
- Fordham : You shut your mouth.
- Agent Ross : Come on, not now!
- Agent Ross : What's wrong?
- Fordham : I don't know, the motor just gave out.
- Agent Ross : Well fix it, you fool! We need to get this man to a doctor.
- Fordham : Of course, sir.

- Fordham : It's Dutch's men!
- Dutch

- Dutch
- Agent Ross : I can't see any more of them. Fordham, are we ready?
- Fordham : Yes, sir, I think so.
- Agent Ross : Come on. Let's get back to Blackwater.
- Fordham : Damn, that was close.
- Agent Ross : We're lucky to be alive.
- Agent Ross : I'm beginning to see why Mr.Marston here has made it to such a ripe old age.
- John : You'll make me blush with all these kind words.
- John : So much for this automobile of yours. If this is the future, God help us all.
- Agent Ross : It's not the automobile. A bad workman shouldn't blame his tools.
- Agent Ross : Perhaps if Mr.Fordham maneuvered it with a little more finesse.
- Fordham : I was trying to escape an ambush, sir.
- John : Even it was runnin' fine, they'd still have caught us.
- John : I can walk faster than this piece of crap. Give me a horse any day.
- John : So, what now Do I get to see my family?
- Agent Ross : Where is Dutch van der Linda?
- Dutch van der Linda
- John : I don't know.
- Agent Ross : In that case old boy, no, you don't get to see your family.
- Agent Ross : It's a fairly simple agreement Mr.Marston, even for a man as devoid of intellect as yourself.
- Agent Ross : If you'd like me to explain it to you again, I'd be more than willing.
- John : No, you've said enough.
- Agent Ross : We'll find Van der Linda soon enough. For now, however, I suggest we call it a day.
- John : So how does it feel? Taking a man's wife and child from him? Does it make you feel good?
- Agent Ross : How does it feel to kill hundreds of men in cold blood?
- John : You're a coward.
- Agent Ross : You're a murderer. Actions have consequences, Mr.Marston.
因果応報、Mr.Marston。
- Agent Ross : Come now. Try to look on the bright side.
- John : The bright side? There ain't no bright side.
- Agent Ross : Your family is enjoying a much needed vacation.
- Agent Ross : And in far more luxurious surroundings than those to which they're accustomed, I assure you.
- Agent Ross : Soon you will be able to start a new life together, absolved of all your sins.
- Agent Ross : I can think of far more upsetting alternatives.
- Agent Ross : We should take the Indian to Professor MacDougal. See what he can get out of him.
- Fordham : Good idea, sir.
- Agent Ross : I just can't communicate with them.
- Agent Ross : Here we are. Thank god for that.
- Fordham : So, this is the office of an anthropologist named MacDougal.
- Fordham : He was thrown out of Yale for degeneracy.
- Agent Ross : Which should tell you something.
- Fordham : Indeed, but he's been helping us deal with the natives in this area.
- Agent Ross : They see him and they presume we're all idiot academics.
- Fordham : Give me a hand here, Marston.
- MacDougal : Mr.Ross. Mr.Fordham...
Mr.Ross. Mr.Fordham...
- MacDougal : good day, good day, what on earth's going on here?
- John : Kid got shot in the leg, beat up pretty good.
- Fordham : We'll send a doctor.
- Fordham : Now, MacDougal.
- Fordham : we need information from this fellow about Dutch van der Linda.
- Fordham : Can you see what you can find out for us?
- MacDougal : I'll do my best, sir.
- Fordham : Make sure you do.
- Agent Ross : Professor MacDougal has been a good friend of the U.S.government, Mr.Marston. Just like you.
- Agent Ross : Why don't you see if you can help him in his study of the native problem in this country, that's a good fellow.
