My dear Rookie,
From what you tell me, ECP 17 sounds really awful !!!
Luckily the Resistance is there to change things.
Life is so different here on ECP 12.
We have a daily entertainment quota, we're forbidden to work if we're not motivated, all restaurants are vegetarian, and there's practically no police force.
You must think that this wouldn't work without police to monitor the people, but you're wrong !
Everyone works a bit, and it's enough to have a good life.
