A simple sword of ordinary appearance, this blade was once not unlike other swords. After it was worn and wielded by the Grand Censor of Ermor who used it to mete out his depraved justice, it acquired considerable power from the innumerable innocents that died on its blade. The residue of these injustices residing in the blade was enhanced during the cataclysmic fall of Ermor, when it absorbed considerable amounts of unholy energy. The sword will now increase the holy might of its wielder and will strike anyone it hits with the rot of Hell. It also enables the owner to protect his undead minions from banishment.

和訳

一般的な外見の簡素な剣。この剣は、かつては他の剣と変わらないものでした。その堕落した正義を振るうためにこれを用いたErmorのGrand Censorに使用された後、この剣はその刃によって死んだ数え切れないほどの罪無き人々から相当な力を得ました。剣に宿るこれらの不正の残滓は、Ermorの破壊的な滅亡の際に大量の不浄なる力を吸収したことで強化されました。現在、この剣は使用者の聖なる力を増強し、地獄の腐敗で敵を打ちます。また、使用者はそのアンデッドの僕たちを追放から保護することができます。

解説

聖魔法ブースターの1つであるアーティファクト。かつてはUnholy属性のブースターだったが、それが消滅してからはこの地位に落ち着いている。

剣としては、高い攻撃補正以外はBane Bladeと変わらない性能。ダメージを与えた際にDecayを与えるのも同じ。
一方で、こちらは特殊機能として戦闘開始時にProtection of the Sepulchreを自動発動する機能も備える。


聖職者がレベル2止まりの国では、これを利用することで玉座の制圧を神・使徒・預言者以外で行うことが可能になる。とくに預言者任命ができないチーム戦では重要。
また優秀だがレベル4以上の聖職者を要求するような固有魔法を持つ国では、その手軽な使用法としても使える。もっとも、解禁が遅い上に1つしか作れないので、頼りきるわけにはいかない。

武器としてはあまり強力ではないが、戦闘に持ち込むだけで下等なアンデッドの魔法抵抗を補強してくれるので、国によっては優秀な支援となる。もっとも、そのような国の多くは自力でも同じ効果を持つ魔法を使用できてしまうのだが。
