The Blood Moon Rises October 27th

　冷たい風がMillennium Cityを吹き抜けます。10月の終わり、月は邪悪な様相を帯び、空を血の赤に染め上げます。ChampionsのスーパーヒーローWitchcraftが、これは神秘的脅威の接近を示す不吉な前兆であると警告しています。全世界で奇怪なクリーチャー、凶暴な人狼と人肉に飢えたゾンビの出現が目撃されています。更に悪い事に、彼らは強大な悪の復活の報せを携えてきたのです……Takofanes, the Undying Lord！

　Takofanesは、最後に北米を横断した時、自らのUndead Armyを増強するため、逆らう全ての者を殺戮しました。彼を阻止しようとするアメリカのスーパーヒーローたちの最初の試みは、五指に余るヒーローの死という結末を迎えました。第２の、さらに力を結集した試みによって、かろうじて戦場からTakofanesを追い払いましたが、倒すことはできませんでした。今、Takofanesは再び配下の大群とともに復活し、破滅の予言を引用して、己が人類の上に君臨すると宣言しました！

• New Power Set: Celestial！　Champions Onlineに追加される最初の新規Power Setで、二つの目的を兼ねたアビリティを備える、SupportとHealがベースのセットです。
• Dawn of the Undead Heroes! Takofanesは、デトロイトの戦い（Battle of Detroit）の最中に斃れたヒーローたちの魂を捕らえ、Millennium City全域を廃墟に変えろと命じました！　13人のUndead Hero全員を救ったプレイヤーは、他の人より２週間早くCelestial Power Setをアンロックできます！
• BITE! プレイヤーには、Wolf Hunterと合流して大地から凶悪な人狼どもを排除できるチャンスがあります。しかし、呪いによってあなた自身が獣の１匹になってしまうことも起こります。
• Rise of Takofanes! Undying Lordが出現し、Millennium Cityの至る所に現れます。彼の従者どもを斃せるほどに強い人々は、Blood Moon Event中だけもらえる特別なPerkと報酬を受け取るでしょう。
• Zombie Apocalypse! 新しいPvPマップが登場します！　終わりなきゾンビのウェーブの中を出来るだけ長く生き延びて下さい、しかし、斃れた者はゾンビとして起き上がり、敵となりますので注意して下さい。

Gain all-new Celestial Powers!

　Dimensional ForceとEnergyを呼び出し、友を癒し敵を滅ぼします。Champions Onlineに追加される最初の新Power Set、Celestialは、Supportとhealingがベースのセットです。

Blood Moon Perks

　Blood Moonが上る時は、意欲的なチャンピオンたちが、イベント専用Perkのいくつかをアンロックする素晴らしい時間です！　以下は、そのPerkの一部です：

• In Memoriam: Bloodmoon Event中に13のUndead Hero Soul全てを解放し、Celestial Power Setをアンロックした。

• Ancient Turakian Serum that can bring the recently dead back to life.
• A pile of bones that you can hurl at your enemies.
• Turakian Pestilence Clouds can be mystically summoned with this.
• Slicemaster 2000 jetfuel powered chainsaw, particularly potent against zombies and other undead.
• This crystalline globe, milky-white in color but occasionally showing flashes of color and light deep within, fits comfortably in a human hand.
• This worked iron wand, set with lesser gems, can project powerful bolts of lightning at nearby targets.
• Woven of bat's-wings, this cloak grants the wearer the ability to fly.
• Maintains a storm of radiative Particle damage to all nearby foes. It also debuffs all affected foes to all damage types.
• Calls forth a swift wind to knock away nearby foes.
• Holds target and heals allies near to you.
• You can create a protective Force Field bubble around yourself and nearby allies. Any incoming damage is absorbed.
