Chests Summary

• You can open a chest by time, gold, or a chest ticket. To gold-open a chest, you need 1 gold for each 10 minutes.
• You can keep up to four chests at a time. Even when you have four chests, you can still deploy; you just cannot receive a new chest.
• You can gold-open a chest which has been time-unlocked. During a chest boost event in which you might be opening the chests one after another, you can save some gold by waiting for some minutes.

• Ratio (announced by the developper, July.2020)
  Normal:70%, Antique:21%, Elegant:4%, Heroic:1.6%, Silver:1.6%, Magical:0.9%, Golden:0.9%
  The ratio of Mystical chest, which only appears during the Mystical chest event, is something like 5%.

• Each chest contains Silver, Luck, and Gears. There are specific chests specialized for each of them. The table below compares them by the opening cost. Magical, Golden, and Mystical chests always contain at least one Epic gear. Mystical chest has a chance to contain a Legendary gear.

1. Refine point via salvaging all the gears except for 大業物. (N= Mystical 266, Magical 94, Golden 91, Heroic 54, Silver 50, Elegant 124, Antique 479, Normal 1336.)

We can calculate the expectation value for each content using the official ratio. The spreadsheet linked below calculate the expectation values etc. taking into consideration the level of your facility and the redraw cost:

tips for the simulator

• For example, during the event of "x2 Magical and Golden & 70% discount for redraw", the expected silver you get from the chests (8,591) covers the redraw costs up to twice (3,600x2), even with your Market Lv.1.
• During the same event, if your Market level is 500, the chest silver (10,739) would be about the same as the full redraw cost (10,800).
