Wake up son! Get your lazy, no good, rear end out of bed now! We're taken on water! I must have hit something here in these shallows, and now we're dead in the water, sittin here like ripe pickens for any pirate that wanders by. Your mothers doin all she can at the bildge pumps to keep us afloat, and I gotta stay on Mid deck to keep an eye on our missiles, they are making an odd tick, tick, tick noise. You go down below decks, see whats going on and get us moving again! If you manage that, get yerself up to the helm and get us out of these muddy waters.

Well, now you've gone an dun it. That engine ye cobbled together has burned through almost all of our blasted reserve fuel. Ive signaled for a nearby trader to come sell us some fuel, but ill garantee that hes gunna fleece us good.
Us sittin out here like ducks, its not helpin my nerves none, none at all. I got some parts to an old cannon up on deck, why dont you go slap that old junk together into something useful. Our antique close range missiles have served us well in the narrow confines of the river, but out here in the ocean some pirates can have us full o' holes beforin we can get on em to swing back.

Mountains on two sides of us, reaching into the sky trying to tickle the clouds, Islands to another side, its shore covered in sugary white sand, dotted with palm trees, and Sapphire water for as far as the eye can see! Your father can never appreciate such a wonderful sight. Just look at him! He’s already in the middle of that dusty old fortress, feet kicked up and fishing pole between his legs. Left us here to get the hard work done, yes he did.
Well, guess we better get to it then? I know a thing or two about these mainframes; your old mamma's got a few tricks up her sleeve still. So, let's get this thing hooked up.

We are in a difficult situation son, it seems the Onyx Watch has sent more Cannon ships to cut off the pass, if we try to make a break for it they will fire so many cannon balls it will blot out the sun, we are trapped here like rats in a cage.
Thats non sense, dont listen to your father. I have a plan that will get us through, but your gunna have to trust me on this. Ive put together these devices, its something I learned about when I was a child. They're called shields, and if you put them in the right places we can sail right through those cannon balls and off to safety.
You trust you're mama; right boy?

  • 攻略情報
    • シールドに関するのチュートリアルミッション。シールド発生装置の設置方法と設定のしかたを学ぶ。
    • 甲板に設置されているシールド発生装置（Shield Projector）を回収し、船体の内部に張り付けていく。
    • シールド発生装置を見ながらQキーを押すと、設定画面が開く。船全体をシールドが覆うように設置していこう。
      • シールドの設定方法は別ページが詳しい。（→対弾防御）
      • ちなみにこのミッションでは敵はレーザーを撃ってこない。
    • Waypointを通ると、敵が発生。襲い掛かってくるので、敵の攻撃を避けながら東に進む。東にあるWaypointに近づけば勝利となる。
      • 思ったよりも敵の攻撃がうざったいので、撃破してしまっても構わない。別に、アレを撃破してしまっても構わんのだろう？
    • ちなみにシールドを設置しなくても攻略は可能。
      ただし、敵弾が直接操縦席を襲うことになるのでプレイヤーが死ぬとゲームオーバーにはならないものの面倒くさい。
      • キャンペーンのように船の操縦席に直接リスポーンできないため。

Tutorial Mission: Silence of the LAMs

Today, we are going to be travelin through Skylord Svenos lands, he's a crazed Pirate lord that floats around in his airships taking ships and loot at his leasure. We're gunna be goin through the edges of his territory, but theres still a chance we can be raided. Right now, the biggest threat to us is missiles, and for the life of me, I aint got a clue what to do about it.
Mamma, you got any thoughts?

We could put some LAMs up on deck, that'll defend us against missiles.

LAMBS!?! What, do you think their

constant bleating is going to annoy the missiles away?

Not lambs you big oaf, LAMs, Laser Anti Missile systems. That would keep us safe.

Ohh, LAMs! Of course, why didnt you say that! Well of course that'd help us, but I aint got a clue how to build one of them things.

Dont you worry about that, i'll just teach the boy an have him build it.

  • 攻略情報
    • レーザー迎撃装置ののチュートリアルミッション。

      LAMに必要なレーザー機関を組み上げたのち、敵の攻撃をかいくぐりながらWaypointにそって移動・脱出する。
    • 船内中段にレーザー機関の素体が出来上がっているので、キャビティを伸ばして合計5000以上の容量にする。
      そうすると、Waypointが出現し先に進められるようになる。
    • Waypointを通ると敵が発生して攻撃を受け始めるが、WayPointを通り続ければクリアは可能。
      しかし、2波目の敵の攻撃が結構激しいので撃破してしまったほうが早い。
      CRAMキャノンは装備されているが、対空にはお察しなので、操縦席の両脇に装備されているVLSミサイルを改造してしまうのが手っ取り早い。

However, there seems to be a blockade of Onyx Watch ships between us and the Ocelot. We're not going to be able to slip on by them, but something with some speed should be able to make it. That’s where you come in, take the skiff and throttle it up, make it to the Ocelot and capture it in the name of Captain Sal!

We've heard rumors of an Onyx Watch "Bayleaf" cargo hauler moving through the area, it’s got some heavy winds pushing at her back, but with all that extra load she should be slow enough to catch her. Take the Ocelot out and drill a hole straight through her. Once you've done enough damage that she can’t move no more then she’s all ours!

Not just any treasure, but rare crystals and gems mined from the Frostridge Mountains. These are rumored to be the clearest in all of Neter. Word is, its escort ships got lost in a storm coming through the Cold Loch, and it’s got its engines revved up to high speed trying to make it to civilization before a pirate takes note of it. Well River Rat, were pirates and we've taken note, aint that right guys?!? "Yarr!".
The prowlers too slow to make it there in time, so you take the Javelin out to intercept that ship, capture it and get it headin in our direction. We're coming to secure the hold, don’t you worry. So, grab your gear, Let’s be bad guys.

Alright River Rat, here’s our chance to recoup our loses on that Treasure ship fiasco.
Theres a Pirate lord nearby, he owes us a bit of a debt, the financial kind, and he’s running late on his payments. He goes by Lord Ruger, and he’s holed up in his fortress. Now, if he sees the Prowler a comin, he’s goin to jump in one of his little bi-planes and be outta here faster than a dog after a bone. Since you have shown your skills at piloting the Javolin I need ya to take her out yet again. Take her to the fortress docks and capture that fortress. Watch out for any incoming missiles, you should be able to dodge em if your reflexs are fast. After this little mission I think that'll get our little debt square.

It is time for you to prove your worth to the Flayed God and pilot one of our jets. The Deepwater Guard seem to be massing several of their airships into one area. We don't know why but we do know it can't be good so soon after your little rampage. You are tasked with taking out the Deepwater Guard airships, which are located deep within their own territory, nestled between a few mountains.

There is a nearby colony of our most devoted zealots. They will be dispatched to deal with the Deepwater guard Scavengers. You will be air dropped onto a nearby Hill to oversee these Martyr and issue orders to them. What the Martyrs lack in offense, or strategy, or value, they more than make up for in numbers and expendability.
Use their lives well; their numbers are vast but finite.

Zealot, two pathetic Deepwater Guard ships have been seen moving behind an uninhabited island off our cost. We believe they are lost or have a deathwish. You are tasked with taking one of our fast attack hybrid ships, this one is known as the "Buzzsaw" also commonly refered to as the Terror of the Seas. Stay close to the island shoreline so that the enemy ships dont see you coming and flee. This mission will be a cakewalk for you, failure would be a great disapointment to us.

This battle will be grand and will delight the Flayed God. There is a fleet waiting for your command, a feat that not many zealots get a chance to have. Take it and crush the blasphemers. Should you succeed, you shall truly bathe in the glory of the Flayed God.

Greetings Prelate, looks like you have decided to become a chosen of the flayed god by donning his crimson robes as your own attire. I am the high priest you will be answering to from here on out. Your role as a prelate is to use the zealots under your command to further the goals of the church and glorify the name of the Flayed God. Your first assignment as an honored prelate is to teach the Steel Empire to respect the Church of the Flayed god; we may be part of their Empire, but they are part of the Flayed Gods domain. Today, you are to remind them that there is no authority above the word of our god, and that they will bleed at his pleasure. You are to intercept a small patrol force of theirs and crush them. Steel Empire ships are of higher quality than the Deepwater Guard, so have your zealots gather the salvage for the churches' coffers.

Once its made it to safety, I'll assume command and make sure the valuable cargo goes to the proper place.

Tomorrow, they will be testing what they call the "Ascension Prototype" and you will be there to provide protection and security for none other than the Doge Inara Ventarius.

There is a Steel Empire cargo ship in route to resupply the Empire, the Ascension Prototype will be sent to intercept this cargo ship as a demonstration of its abilities. Inara Ventarius and you will follow behind the Ascension Prototype in another ship to watch the demonstration.
Your Job is simple; make sure nothing happens to the Doge just in case the Empire has a surprise up its sleeve.

This place has no official name. In fact, it officially doesn't exist, but for those who are "in the know" as I am, it’s commonly referred to as "Limbo".

Thanks to some high altitude spy ships we have also learned the location of Limbo, and are preparing a one man rescue team. Can you guess who is on that team? Very Good, I knew you were a sharp one. Once you are in Limbo, find the central "Heartstone" that powers the place, and take it out. That will release the prisoners. Destroying the facilities rooftop defenses will help you make your escape. You are to then transport to a high speed interceptor jet and come pick up our people. Once on board, high tail it out of the area. Pack your gear and guns; you are wheels up in less than an hour. Don't worry; they will instruct you on the flight on how to use the reconstruction drop pods.

We are not sure who is behind it, but hundreds of ships and aircraft from our technological branches are fleeing the continent. With our defenses still up we are crippling many of the ships as they run, but there’s just so many of those roaches we can’t stop them all.
One ship holds a group of scientist with vital information; they cannot be allowed to escape. They are currently heading towards High Lorham, the White Flayer capital, we need you to take an aircraft out to intercept them and destroy thm. Later we will send out salvage teams to collect any recoverable data from the wreckage.

      自軍の対空砲はレーザーに弱いので破壊されないように素早く行動する必要がある。
      また、ウェイポイントは空中にあるので必ず飛行ビークルをもっていかなければクリアできない。
      もし飛行ビークルが飛行不能に陥ったら修理するか、WFの航空機を奪って無理やりにでも辿り着くしかなくなる。

Well Ace, it looks like your flight skills are needed again. There is a meeting being held by the White Flayers and representatives from some of the traitorous corporations. They will all be together in one place in approximately three hours in a secret location that our spy satellites have located. The Meeting is being Held in the Ecclesia Montem Temple which is heavily shielded. The shields are provided power by nearby Power Supply towers. Destroy enough towers to get the shields to drop and then destroy the temple itself.

Take your fleet to the White Flayer borders and try to see if you can track any fleet movements there and report back.

Ace, you have done exceptional work thus far, so we have decided to promote you to the rank of Commander. As a Commander your next mission will be the greatest one thus far, you are to take command of a Forward Operating Base that we have set up near the White Flayer Command Buildings. They have taken notice of this and already sent ships to attack.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to get to work producing new ships to fend off the flayers. Amass a force and bring the fight to their front doors, then break it down. Destroy their structures and make them come begging on their knees for mercy.

    • 要塞を用いた３on３のタワーディフェンス系ミッション。
      敵要塞からは際限なく小型ビークルが生み出されるのでこちらも応戦しよう。
      特にハラッサーやマーターといった核ラムビークルは絶対に近づけてはならない。
      左側の要塞だけは別のビークルを使うことができるので戦闘ヘリなどを代わりに出して直接敵要塞を殴るという手もある。
