Neter is actually a dwarf planetoid with a diameter of approxemately 844km and it is perfectly round, meaning it has no centripetal deformations or other surface structures much greater than islands.

It is the sole planet orbiting a sub brown dwarf star in an orbit with about 0.06 AU almost zero eccenticity and rotates within 1.021 hours (sidereal day)
Its extremely small orbit leads to a "year" that only counts 8 days (8.16 hours)
Its rotational axis has absolutely no tilt, its orbit has absolutely no ecliptic inclination against Neet's rotational axis (the name of the sun) while the host stars axis points away from the galactic ecliptic (normal alignment)
An interesting feature of the star is its extreme high velocity against the mean velocity of the local star group, extrapolating this vector shows, that Neet will escape the galaxy within the next 4.5 million years.
Interestingly, the star is currently extremely close to its galactic center, which is quite uncommon, since galactic bulges are usually mostly comprized of stars with extremely low metallicity.
The last all sky survey performed by an scientific expedition from within some higher ranks of the scarlet dawn society of knowledge showed, that the local galaxy is actually a spherical companio dwarf galaxy, orbiting a much larger galaxy, whichs core is highly active.

Lately, there have been made observations, showing that Neter's rotatinal axis tends to go "full retard" from time to time.
Heavy axial shifting, excentricity of the barycenter and even rotational acceleration and deceleration up to fully beeing tilted upside down and even short termed polar alignment states. While there is currently no real explenation for this behaviour, it is believed that Neet's solar activity has a role to play. But this is highly controversal, since Neet is much too small to actually produce energy by fusion.
The same counts for Neter itself, it ich much too small to have such a gravimetric field. Its core might be comprized of unkown types and/or states of matter.

Maybe there once were some ancient inhabitants that once left this world and left all their robots without turning them off. After a while of cosmic radiation and other fancy influences, they might have gained sentience.
And while browsing the old "datacenters" they found in ruins, they learned a lot abour war. Since this theme was the only that survived data curruption, the robot's "believe" that the entirety of the whole universe is "made out of war".
They even have formulae to calculate "war"

Huh i just noticed the station idea can possibly fit Hoyers idea for the robots being left behind by some sort of advanced race. Also as for what the stations purpose was, maybe it was made for experimental biological research? Would explain where the GT got there hands on Sea Monsters..... and where they came from in the first place. Basically the fore-fathers of the GT (hunter/gatherers perhaps) stumbled across a hidden surface facility for Sea monster research/breeding; and after somehow figuring out how to tame them started up there whole cult/we-are-so-much-better-than-everyone thing. Knowledge of the facility may have been lost over time (or was destroyed somehow), while the monsters remained closely guarded in there hands; passed down from generation to generation (royalty style).

Neter could be as well a planetoid with an additional external shell, or not a moon, a space station, where nature took over and coated the surface over aeons with silicate rocks and water in stead of beeing terraformed.
The SD might not be fully aware of their ancient ancestry and have developed their completely own cosmogony, as well as the robots...
But the robots don't seem to care much over the conundrums of how and why, they are just there fragging the craps out of each other Big Grin

And I thought about putting the Neet sytem not into a normal "galaxy" or something similar, it could be a high velocity rogue system shooting along the edge of a void, not bound to any galactic core. But this might get quite weird, dunno Big Grin
