2 new events are live!
NA server will receive these events after the 2x reset.

Player of the year event -

Login and win 7 battles to get the maximum amount of tokens or just login and still get 5 tokens
Use 10 tokens to open the Souvenir Machine. It has a 11.5% chance of dropping a tank,so thats great!
You will also receive several quests and rewards that can be seen on the right side of the screen.

Afterparty event -

None of these tanks are free. You will get one ID card to open 1 locker for free on 27th of December ( till 2 jan i believe ) . Just 1
Get 1 victory everyday to get 20 metal detectors, these can be used to claim any of the 3 rewards in the middle of the screenshot . Collect em all, customizatin or quest briefcase

It becomes a bit more complicated from here on.
Buy ID cards from the store and open Lockers. These lockers can drop tanks as well as hammers and trinkets or trinket charms
Hammers can be used to buy BZ176 or MBT-B
Trinkets can be used to open Afterparty container. Waffle F1.0 has a 3% drop rate in this container. No charms for Waffle 1.0. So you could end up gambling an infinite amount of money
You can also get Waffle F1.0 from Locker but the drop rate is 0.1%. Considering everyone will get a free ID card tomorrow, a few free to plays will also get the tank.

Lockbox can drop anywhere from 5-300 hammers but the drop rate decreases as the number of hammers increase. Dont get confused here.
5 hammers has 85% chance whereas 300 hammers has a 0.05% chance. You can check drop rate of everything in the game

As many of you may know, my personal Discord server has been undergoing a process of restructuring for the past few weeks. This was in preparation for a migration from the Droodles' Discord to my own news server that has been planned for a while now. This will give me greater freedom from Droodles' CC and WG activities to post news. However, in light of recent allegations surrounding droodles, I have now decided to accelerate this process, so the migration of news and leaks contents will begin today.

From this post onwards, the news channel will be fully disassociated with Droodles, and will migrate in its entirety to my own discord server. This means that the webhooks many of you originally set up in your server will stop functioning. If you would still like to receive news, please follow these instructions:

To people who read the news: You can join my server.
To people who operate or own Discord servers: You can swap the webhook from the Droodles' server to the WoT Blitz News server. Further instructions are inside the server.

I am taking the recent turn of events extremely seriously, and therefore, the news channel will be wholly owned and managed by me (aeson000) and my WoT Blitz News server team. When it comes to the Player of the Year event, you should hold off from opening those crates for now if you have any of the vehicles inside of them. As of now all vehicles inside, including collector ones have credit compensations. It's not yet clear whether it was intended or not, so it's probably better to wait for clarification from WG and possibly a change to gold compensation.

Adding credit compensation for collector vehicles you can no longer simply sell and restore for the same price would be extremely scummy.

Similar event last time had all tanks compensated with gold, so it's probably better to just wait for now and see how WG responds to that.
